Puppy Pirates on Parade

Thursday 6/4 was the first day of the Billy Bowlegs festival.  Downtown merchants participated in a "Pirate Walk," where kids got to trick or treat in pirate gear (or, as my son Cade said, his pirate get-up). 

3 Dogs & A Chick also hosted a pirate social.  People arrived with their canine mateys dressed to kill - or at least dressed to eat - and paraded down Highway 98 and back up Brooks Street.

Thursday was also the first day of my joint fundraiser with Nicole Poch.  Together we are raising money to support deployed military working dogs.  Tickets are $2 each, and you can win a private in-home doga session.  The raffle tickets will be available through Sunday 6/14.  Please stop by, purchase a raffle ticket, and don't forget to buy some of Nicole's yummy treats!
