My poor Jojo's been nursing an injured shoulder for a while.  I think she injured it jumping off the bed - or something else she shouldn't have been doing!  She's had a slight limp, off and on.  At first it was very hard to tell that she was limping.  But over the past few weeks it's gotten worse.  I've been using massage, range of motion, oils, and trying to reduce her activity.  Telling Jojo she can't run outside and scare off "intruders" is a tough sell!

So I'm going to have to take her to the vet.  She's almost due for her annual exam anyway.

Yesterday I was out with the Crestview Kitty Group in Crestview.  We were again rallying for the conviction of James Decatur Lee, the man accused of (and self-admittedly did) beat several kittens to death with a broomstick.

The cars and passers-by seemed to be behind us - lots of honking and waving.

Unfortunately, the case was continued for the 7th time - ridiculous!

I went to the Niceville Dog Park yesterday evening with JoJo, Tressel, and Pepper.  Pepper did a little meet-n-greet to reclaim her rock star status.  We had not been to the dog park in a long time - bad mommy...

I think I will be hosting the doga demonstration at this year's Dog Daze on September 12 at the Landing.  I'm also going to have some type of coupons for the goodie bags - I need to work out exactly what it will be.  Please let me know if you have any suggestions, requests, etc!

I received a call on Saturday from a lady who is looking for a loving home for a young puppy.

The puppy is a 4-month-old Lab mix named Lala.  She is black with white patches, very smart, and very energetic.  She needs a fur-ever home with a family who can train her and handle her exuberant zest for life.

If you are interested in adopting, or fostering, Lala, please contact

I've been sick with... a cold?  the flu?  the plague? for over a week now.  I've been using frankinscence and eucalyptus oils.  This therapy seems to have helped Cade and Connor, but I am still sick.

Yesterday I went to PAWS for my shelter doga, but I was unable to practice.  It's a bit hard when your face seems about to explode when you bend over!

Amy Likins of All One Yoga told me they are about to embark on the yoga studio expansion / renovation.  Best of luck, and let's all wish speedy work on this project!
