Of course! Doga is not obedience or behavior modification. We don't expect our dogs to behave perfectly during class. In fact, dogs who are hyperactive, over anxious, or have trouble focusing are great candidates for doga! Talking and laughing are encouraged in doga.
Can I come to doga if I've never done yoga before?
Because of the nature of a partner practice, doga tends to be a gentler, slower-paced class than many traditional yoga classes. New practitioners are always welcome.
Can I bring more than one dog with me to doga?
Unfortunately, no. We do limit one dog per person. The intention of doga is to connect and explore that connection we have with our dogs, and it is very difficult to focus on more than one dog simultanously. You can alternate and bring different dogs to different practices so all your dogs can benefit from doga.
How old should my dog be to come to doga class?
Usually 6 months and older, but it depends on the dog.
